I know he has caught the wrath of some of the fans, but I like Mattias Tedenby. I think his offensive skill far outweighs his defensive liability and I think, with regular shifts, he will develop into a decent player – similar to Steve Sullivan. I just hope the organization has the patience to let him grow.

With Vladimir Zharkov being demoted to Albany yesterday, with Lou Lamoriello saying “Kovalchuk is healthy and Tedenby is going back in the lineup”, where Mattias Tedenby should be playing will likely be a question some are asking once again.

The New Jersey Devils are 15 games into their 2011-2012 season. At 8-6-1 (17 pts), they are way ahead of last year’s pace, but there are some stats that jump out at you that could be cause for some concern.
