- Martin Brodeur will get the start today after relieving Johan Hedberg in yesterday’s game against the Flyers.

- Anton Volchenkov will miss today’s game due to the death of his father.

- Mark Fayne has been recalled to take Volchenkov’s spot on the roster.

- This is the first of four meetings between the teams this season. It is the first game between the teams since the blackout game of last season.
