Last but not least, our very own Atlantic Division in the Eastern Conference. There will be another entry with some non-NHL ideas, so please, stay tuned.

Devils As… The Pittsburgh Penguins:
This is by far the worst jersey in the series. There is way too much white going on and I really don’t like the pattern going down the sides of the torso. The only thing they have going for them is the three-color lettering style.
Devils As… The New York Rangers:
One of the six teams that use neck laces, it’s less obnoxious on the Rangers just because they date back to times when teams actually used them (like the Bruins and Leafs). As for the rest of it, blah, blah, blah, 3-D numbers and tilted team name lettering, blah, blah, blah, simple sleeve and torso sleeves, blah, blah, blah, I don’t know how to feel about the torso stripes running all the way to the bottom, blah, blah, blah, it’s the Rangers, and I learned at an early age if you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all…
Devils As… The Philadelphia Flyers:
Hate to say it, but I like this. I also like the name template being a different color on the back of the jersey (not pictured). I like the sweeping white arch, it represents very well in action. The simple white torso stripe and black tips on the sleeves are also a great touch. You really don’t know how much it pains me to talk nice about anything from Philadelphia.
Devils As… The New York Islanders:
They have definitely had their miss-steps in the past (using Stan Fischler, or Gorton’s Fisherman, as a mascot on one of their jersey’s comes to mind) but their current incarnation has a very nice look. While it is very understated in it’s simplicity, it does a great job of looking like a hockey jersey.
And there they are… The Devils’ jersey re-imagined as every other jersey in the league. Which was your favorite? Would you make any changes? Let us know!
Stay tuned for a few other jersey ideas…
