- Ilya Kovalchuk traveled to Boston with the team and could “possibly” play tonight. He practiced this morning and convinced coach DeBoer to let him participate in warm-ups after DeBoer said Kovalchuk would not play tonight.

- Patrik Elias has at least one point in seven straight games and has a point in 13 of 15 games this season.

- Elias leads in scoring as a Devil with 21 goals and 18 assists in 50 career games against the Bruins.
