We’re Going Streaking!!

It looks like someone broke it to the Devils that if they want to keep playing after the regular season ends, they might just have to win some games at home. After an 0-3 start, they have gone 3-1 in their last four at home.
To go along with this sudden streak of home wins, they are also looking to go 8-0 on the road tonight when they travel up to Ottawa to face the Senators.
Overall, the Devils have won four in a row and 10 of 12 to get to within four points of the division leading Penguins. The Devils, however, have played two less games than Pittsburgh. In case you were wondering, they are just one point behind the Rangers that other team, who have played three more games than the Devils. That’s a fun little fact, isn’t it?
With Patrick Elias finally back from injury (he played last night, but will sit out tonight’s game), the offense should only improve. Another good sign with the Devils is the early play of Yann Danis. With the Devils playing 19 back-to-back games this season, tied with Chicago for most in the league, Danis should be called upon in plenty of games.
So join me…as we go through the quad and into the gymnasium! We’re going streaking!
LET’S GO DEVILS!
